In this shabd, respected Garibdas Ji Sahib is saying that there does not seem to be any worshipper of Satlok who may tell the dhuni (sound) of that true shabad. There are only worshippers who describe the fake sound (dhuni) of fake Satlok, Alakh lok, Agam lok and Anami lok built in Kaal lok.

What is dhuni (sound)? Like, a stick is struck on a drum to tune it, which produces the correct sound (dhuni). If it is beaten with something else like a slipper or a shoe, then also sound is produced but that will not be the real sound. Similarly, by the jaap of the correct naam (Satnaam), the real sound will be produced. If someone is doing jaap of a wrong naam, then also sound will be produced, but it will not be correct. Therefore, the following devotees tried but without the sadhna (religious practice) of Satnaam, only remained on this side in Kaal–Brahm’s trap i.e. remained on this side (vaar) only, did not get across (paar) and did not go to Satlok. Though, they were very good devotees. Like, however fertile a land is, if instead of mango, seed of acacia (babul) is sown in it, then the earth has to produce an acacia tree, but one did not get what was expected i.e. mango tree.

In those greatmen: 1. Shri Gorakh Naath Ji 2. Shri Prahlaad Ji 3. Shri Dhruv Ji 4. Shri Dataatre Ji 5. Shri Sukhdev Ji 6. Shri VedVyas Ji 7. Shri Parasur Ji 8. Shri Durwasa Ji 9. Shri Narad Ji 10. Shri Sharda Ji 11. Shri Shesh Ji 12. Shri Bharthari Naath Ji 13. Shri Gopichand Naath Ji 14. Shri Sanak Ji 15. Shri Sanandan Ji 16. Shri Sanatan Ji 17. Shri Sant Kumar Ji (these four sons of Brahma are also great sages, who are very good worshippers but without Satnaam and Saarnaam are bound in Kaal’s trap only; have not got across), 18. Shri Brahma Ji 19. Shri Indra Ji 20. Shri Kaal God, who has one thousand kalaas (skills), 21. Shri Shiv Shankar Ji 22. Shri Vishnu Ji 23. Shri Dharmrai Ji, who is the justice here (Kaal lok).

All these did not get across. These as well as their worshippers are in birth and death and in Kaal’s trap only. Aadi Maya (Prakriti Devi) and gods also are bound in Kaal’s bondage.

“Kabir, sur nar muni jan, tetees karori, bandhe sab Niranjan (Kaal) ki dori ”

All gods and devotees whether they are worshipping Brahm in Sargun form or in Nirgun form, they keep revolving in birth and death, sufferings of 84-lakh births of various life-forms and then heaven and hell on the basis of their deeds (karmas). They remain devoid of the bliss of complete salvation. All these are in Kaal’s trap only because they did not find a Complete Saint who gives Satnaam and Saarnaam. Sahib Kabir Ji reached the Param Dhaam (Supreme Abode – Satlok), who himself used to do worship on the basis of sumiran (recitation of mantra) of Satnaam and Saarnaam and also used to impart these to his disciples. The method of attaining the Supreme Abode is not even described in the four Vedas (Yajurved, Samved, Rigved and Atharvaved). Sahib Garibdas Ji Maharaj says that I obtained Satnaam from Sahib Kabir (my Satguru) Ji. Then developed such an intense interest like an Alal bird tries to reach its parents who live in the sky, and like a Kunj bird with an intense eagerness at every moment to go to Satlok, and with a heart-felt desire to attain SatPurush, did sumiran; as a result of which, I attained that Endless Lok and saw that Nirgun (SatPurush who is beyond the gunas / qualities) in an effulgent body, Whom the incomplete worshippers because of having a body free from the five elements regard as Formless. He lives in form in His Satdhaam (Satlok – Param Dhaam / Supreme Abode).
